How to Evolve Charcadet in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Venturing into the vibrant world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, trainers are eager to explore the vast landscapes and uncover the secrets of new Pokémon. Among these captivating creatures, Charcadet stands out as a fire-type Pokémon with a unique evolutionary path. This guide aims to simplify the process, ensuring your journey to evolve Charcadet into either Armarouge or Ceruledge is seamless and rewarding.
Find and Catch Charcadet
Before diving into the evolution process, securing a Charcadet is crucial. This fire-type Pokémon can be found in various areas of Paldea, such as the South and East Provinces, and in Tera Raid battles. Each location offers a different challenge and opportunity to add Charcadet to your collection.
How to Evolve Charcadet into Armarouge and Ceruledge in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To evolve Charcadet in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll need to follow different methods depending on whether you’re playing Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, as Charcadet evolves into two different Pokémon in each version:
Pokémon Scarlet: Evolving Charcadet into Armarouge
- Catch Charcadet: Find Charcadet in various locations in Paldea such as the South Province (Areas Three, Four, Five), East Province (Areas One, Two, Three, Tagtree Thicket), West Province (Areas One, Two, Three, Asado Desert), or in Tera Raid battles.
- Get Auspicious Armor: Go to Zapacico, a city in the game. Look for a man standing near a fountain who will trade you an item called Auspicious Armor for ten Bronzor fragments. Bronzor is commonly found in ruins throughout Paldea.
- Evolve Charcadet: Give the Auspicious Armor to Charcadet, which will cause it to evolve into Armarouge.
- Alternative Method: Armarouge can also be found in the wild in South Province, Area Two, and through high-level Tera Raid battles.
Pokémon Violet: Evolving Charcadet into Ceruledge
- Catch Charcadet: Same locations as mentioned for Pokémon Scarlet.
- Get Malicious Armor: Head to Zapacico and find a woman near the fountain. She will trade Malicious Armor for ten Sinistea chips. Sinistea is rarer and mainly found around Alfornada.
- Evolve Charcadet: Once you have the Malicious Armor, give it to Charcadet to evolve it into Ceruledge.
- Ceruledge Location: Unlike Armarouge, Ceruledge does not wander in the open world. Your best chance outside the evolution process is through Tera Raid battles.
Getting Both Evolutions
To obtain both Charcadet evolutions, trading is the easiest method. If you and a friend have opposite game versions, you can trade to get the version-exclusive evolution. If not, joining online Tera Raid battles is another option, though it’s more challenging and less reliable.
Remember, for a successful evolution, Charcadet needs to be in your party when you give it the respective armor. The process is irreversible, so choose wisely if you have only one Charcadet!
